My new laptop showed up last week, and that means I’m back to writing. My schedule hasn’t been very consistent, sadly, but that’s what happens when you have a sudden and extended hiatus. (I did read several books while I waited for a new computer, and that was rather nice.) All told I scraped up about 2,000 words in Cold Iron–which finished out chapter four. Now the story is back in Mary Beth’s capable hands, and it’s time for me to turn my attention to Uncanny Valley.
NaNoWriMo is just around the corner, and once again this year I don’t think I’ll shoot for it. I will ponder this next week and try to come up with a suitable goal in lieu of 50,000 words. Maybe I could shoot for 25,000…
